Baytna Syria was launched in 2013 as a networking, training, and grant-making facility for Syrian civil society organizations, offering support to CSOs based inside Syria and the neighbouring countries.
Baytna Syria is seeking to recruit a Graphic Designer to ensure the implementation of and maintenance of existing graphic guidelines; lay‐out of reports, newsletters and publications in English and Arabic; development of new graphic solutions; and design of innovative interactive products.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Safeguard and ensure that all Baytna Syria’s publications, reports and products are produced in line with the graphic guidelines;
Deliver creative and innovative ideas for print, web and interactive presentations;
Support and lead the design process of reports, newsletters and presentations for printing, electronic distribution and live delivery;
Lay‐out weekly, monthly and other recurrent products in close cooperation with the communication officer;
Design templates for new publications and products in line with graphic guidelines and in close cooperation with the communication officer;
Maintain templates (Word, PowerPoint etc) and give technical support for the use of them;
Improve and edit art‐works, photos, charts and other graphic elements;
Assist in establishing and be responsible for maintaining photo archive.
Lay‐out and design presentations;
Any other related tasks as and when assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong practical background in graphic design,including the knowledge of design software such as Adobe Design Premium‐package;
- Show a clear and mature style of design with an understanding to implement in an official Baytna Syria setting;
- Proven experience of graphic production from start to published/printed product with knowledge of printing processes (offset and digital) and color management;
- Good understanding of new and evolving technologies and digital platforms;
- Knowledge of standard software packages (MS Office–MS Visio –Adobe Acrobat)
