About NSPPL:
The National Syrian Project for prosthetic limbs has been established in Feb 2013 by a group of Syrian doctors overseas to help the people whose parts have been imputed as a result of the Syrian war and provide them with prosthetic parts and the appropriate rehabilitation and NSPPL is a non-profit organization which serves people in Syria and Turkey.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Reviewing documents submitted for payments, ensuring all backup paperwork is accurate and well documented.
- Follow up payment procedures and make sure to be made in a timely and secure manner.
- Ensure compliance of all financial procedures with NSPPL and donors’ guidelines.
- Provide support to the logistics, administration and program departments in terms of donor requirements.
- Prepare Require documents for Cash and Bank payments.
- Recording all transactions into QuickBooks (QB) on daily basis, Post verified Journals into QB, Regular follow up of all accounts (Accruals, advances, prepaid accounts…).
- Participate in preparing the monthly report and collect supporting documents from other departments.
- Ensure proper documentation of financial dept.
Qualifications & requirements:
- University degree in Economy.
- A minimum of two years professional experience working in an accounting or finance-related role.
- Fluent in Arabic and English, Turkish is advantage.
- Experience working with NGOs or humanitarian organizations is a plus.
- Advanced working knowledge with MS Office applications.
- Familiar working with financial systems.
