  • Support in the start-up of new activity sites through conducting stakeholder mappings and building relationships, supporting in assessments and the translation of assessments and assisting in the identification and recruitment of new staff members.
  • Support the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) National Manager, Psychiatrist Trainer and the PSS Manager in programme reporting, management of donor files and monitoring of activities.
  • Provide written and verbal translation from Arabic to English and English to Arabic during day to day work and trainings when required.
  • Keep a daily record of all mental health patients seen using Clinical Audit Sheet.
  • Provide a weekly report of number of cases seen and diagnosis by age and gender as well as a source of referral using spreadsheets and collection tools provided (mental health clients).
  • Keep a record of attendance and pre-post-test of any trainings provided in the programme files.
  • Translate documents, forms, reports, etc. as required by programme, and carry out interpretation in the field whenever required.
  • Provide administrative support to ensure that the MHPSS programme operations are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner and communicate this accordingly e.g., activity calendar, training calendar and personnel files.
  • Support the implementation of the measurement tools in the field for collection of data alongside the MHPSS M&E Officer.
  • Data entry and assistance with compiling information from the MHPSS consultation spaces to enter into the weekly report, monthly reports and donor reports.
  • Perform clerical and related office tasks as assigned including office maintenance, supplies, filing systems etc.
  • Participate in programme meetings for strategic planning and evaluation.
  • Perform any other duties as specified by Supervisor.
  • Report directly on all tasks and responsibilities to Direct Supervisor.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience or training in psychosocial support or mental health services
  • Background in psychology, psychosocial support, or sociology preferable
  • Experience working with NGOs or international organizations preferable
  • Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work well as a team & independently
  • Must have Turkish residency.
