- Keep warehouse records updated daily and perform tasks with high accuracy
- Work on the ground with the packer to ensure accurate counting, proper arranging and safety procedure being applied.
- Supervise loading of shipments against waybills and make sure goods are properly labelled.
- Record and monitor warehouse temperature on the ground where needed.
- Pro-actively maintain open and professional relations with International Medical Corps team members, promoting a strong team spirit and providing oversight and guidance to enable staff to successfully perform in their positions
- Perform monthly physical inventory, and insure all records match with physical count.
- Perform all other tasks assigned by the supervisor, in a manner that contributes to
achievement of the objectives.
- Assist in managing the proper set up, maintenance, repair, and running of all IMC
facilities according to IMC procedures and regulations.
- Assist in the full documentation of all Logistics operations in a well-organized filing
system according to IMC regulations.
- Adhere to IMC Code of Conduct and internationally accepted humanitarian
principles.
- Knowledge and Experience required:
- Bachelor degree specialization in business administration is preferred
- Desirable working experience of at least one year in Logistics (similar position)
- Good planning capabilities and good ability to conceptualize, innovate, plan and execute ideas and systems
- Ability to multitask, think creatively and work with little supervision in an often stressful environment
- Good reporting skills in oral and written form including the ability to clearly and
concisely express ideas and concepts
- Experience with NGOs will be given preference.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills Excellent writing and analytical skills; with fluency in English
