We are currently recruiting for a Programme Coordinator – (FSL) to be based in Turkey. The Programme Coordinator will be responsible of planning, designing, implementing and reviewing all the projects and programmes specifically food security and livelihoods through the field team inside Syria and in Turkey in order to achieve the overall organizational goal.
The Programme Coordinator will be monitoring and evaluating the ongoing and completed projects. The job holder will participate in developing new project ideas in the Food security and livelihoods sector including drafting concept papers and writing full proposals. S/he will participate in maintaining project work plan and ensure its timely completion.
The successful candidate must have a Strong knowledge of Food security and livelihoods issues in emergency context. A University degree in social sciences/agriculture/economics or equivalent or proven experience is essential. The job holder will have the ability to travel to Syria and other hard to reach areas for project implementation. Excellent English, written and spoken is essential. Knowledge of a foreign language (Arabic) and local language is desirable.
