Takaful Al Sham (TAS) has been responding to the Syrian crisis since 2012 and to the Refugee Response in Turkiye since 2013. TAS works in Education, Early Recovery, Food Security, Livelihood & Empowerment, WASH, Protection, Shelter, CCCM, and Emergency Response, where TAS has implemented successfully more than 130 projects in Direct partnership with Institutional donors, UN Agencies, and INGOs such as; BHA, SCHF, UNICEF, WFP, UNDP, IOM, CARE, GOAL, Save the Children, Global Communities, World Vision, DRC, WHH, Archenova, Chemonics. Role Purpose:
Role Purpose: He/she will be responsible for implementing specialized protection activities including case management, IPA, and referral, to ensure achieving project protection objectives in the correct form as planned and ensuring documentation and implementation accordance to the requirements of the administration and donors, submitting periodic reports in full transparency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Implement case management and IPA activities according to inter-agency guidance in Turkey, Hatay city, including setting up clear objectives for opened cases, and apply all adopted standards, SOPs, and formats.
· Conduct life skills and PSS sessions, in addition to referral services.
· Ensure case management steps, case management meetings, referrals and documentation are happening in timely and quality manner.
Conduct social cohesion activities for members of host and refugees communities.
· Submit monthly financial and narrative report of protection activities to the line manager.
· Ensure that project protection goals and plans are implemented on time and on budget, and according to donor/partner/other
Maintain the principles of humanitarian work and community based approached during the implementation of the project.
Follow up with the Media Department on the design success stories for protection project.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Social and psychological studies
• Technical experience in implementing child protection, PSS, IPA, Case management and protection activities in Turkey context.
• Experience for at least three years in similar projects in non-profit organizations in Turkey context.
• Excellent level of negotiation, problem solving, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in working with MS Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Good level of presentation skills, effective communication (verbally and in writing) and speaking with confidence.
• The ability to work under pressure.
• Very good command in Arabic languages, reading, writing and speaking.
Desirable:
• Residence in Hatay
• Turkish language proficiency
• Facilitation skills
• Certificates in Psychosocial First Aid, CM, IPA, would be an asset
