Essential Job Duties/Scope of Work:
International Medical Corps is a global, humanitarian, nonprofit organization dedicated to saving lives and relieving suffering through health care training and relief and development programs.

PROGRAM BACKGROUND
Due to conflict in Syria, refugee numbers in Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, and Iraq are on the rise since 2012. The collapse of health care and social service systems in Syria has greatly limited access to basic lifesaving services as the country enters its fourth year of war.
JOB SUMMARY
The Grants and Reporting Manager is the focal point for compiling grant proposals, contract modifications, donor communication, reports, as well as a range of regular and ad hoc reports and communication tools used for both internal and external dissemination of information. The Manager will support training and development of partners to improve and standardize reporting. The Manager stays abreast of situational developments, obtaining information from both internal and external sources to contextualize the work of the Turkey Emergency Response Team.
Grants Management
• Draft letters of interest, concept notes, full proposals, modification requests, logframes, and workplans, provide assistance in preparation of budgets in coordination with program and management personnel
• Create Grants Opening Checklists and play a lead role in grants kick off meetings
• Participate in and take a lead role on grant review meetings
• Present quarterly progress against targets internally for all grants
• Collate donor reports and information needs (monthly, quarterly, final) coordinating inputs from relevant staff
• Support program compliance and internal control procedures according to internal and donor regulations
• Liaise with in-country, regional and headquarters on grant management activities, including ad hoc requests for information and updates
• Support institutional learning learning and program design
• Train national staff to support program development and grants management
Reporting
• Support partners in high quality reporting through the development and standardization of reporting tools
• Compile information for regular situation analysis (security, political, media, from other agencies/actors), regarding humanitarian needs and data collection from program activities
• Collect, analyze, and disseminate timely and relevant information from external and internal sources
• Interpret situation related to program activities for internal and external reports
• Support national staff to develop templates for and write high quality weekly, monthly, quarterly internal and external reporting for the Turkey Emergency Response Team
• Support national staff to maintain a donor reporting schedule
• Develop communication tools (for internal and external use), including maps, case studies, and infographics, to present information relating to programs and context
• Coordinate with staff to produce material useful in external communication on activities
• Classify, collate and store program information documents such as sitreps, donor reports, proposals, photos and videos for easy access and retrieval
Internal/External Coordination
• Coordinate with sub-grantees at the field level to support coordination of activities, quality reporting, and capacity building
• Support information flow from the field, regionally and with headquarters
• Represent IMC at NGO coordination fora
General

Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in International Development and/or in a relevant field of study?
• At least five years of experience with an international humanitarian organization
• Experience writing proposals and managing information related to large-scale emergency response and reporting to donors (OFDA, BPRM, DFID, ECHO, etc.)
• Profound cross-cultural awareness and insight into health care issues
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently
• Flexible, able to cope with stressful situations and frustrations
• Competent in MS Excel, word processing, Power Point, and tools useful in information management and program reporting such as mapping
• Fluency in English, with strong written English a must (Arabic is a plus)
