Librarian **
Librarian will be assisting in the efficient operation of the Library Services by undertaking customer service duties at the Library circulation desk
general administrative support and assisting with Library programs to all ages in the community.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- · Coordinating and planning the development of library applications and goals.
- · Managing such resources as books, periodicals and journals.
- · Contribute to provide library books and other requirements by administrative instructions.
- · Maintaining a reading environment that is not only friendly but inviting.
- · Managing facilities in the library with an aim of providing flexible access.
- · Search standard reference materials, including on-line sources and the Internet, in order to answer patrons' reference questions.
- · Analyze patrons' requests to determine needed information, and assist in furnishing or locating that information.
- · Teach library patrons to search for information using databases.
- · Keep records of circulation and materials.
- · Check books in and out of the library.
- · Cataloging books and other information resources.
- · Helping individuals search for and locate books and reading materials.
Qualifications
- · Degree in Literature or Libraries or related field
- · Strong beneficiaries service focus
- · Able to communicate with a diverse cross section of people
- · Able to operate effectively and autonomously.
- · Presented skills
- · Good written communication skills
- · Good computer skills
- · Arabic are required, Turkish and English is an prefer. **
