(AID ) Association for Integration and Development is the Syria's leading independent organisation for Health services provided to children with special needs . We work in Syria's neighbouring countries . we fight for children's rights in Education according to INEE principles ; we help them fulfil their potential.
AID is a civil, nonprofit and nongovernmental organization; it was established and officially registered in Turkey by a professional team in accordance with the International law.
Vision : To ensure that All Syrians affected by the crisis have their rights fully respected in accordance with the International Law to achieve Food security , Health , Protection and Education.
Mission :To implement Food Security and infrastructure Programs , Public Health including Mental Health Programs , Women and Children Protection Programs and Compensational Learning Programs according to the International Law.
Goals :
1- To Implement Food Security and infrastructure Programs
2- To provide effective and quality Protection activities to ensure that Women and children rights are met in accordance with the International Law.
3- To provide Health services (three levels) and integrate Mental health into Primary health care in accordance with WHO guidelines.
4- To ensure that all Syrians affected by the crisis through Prevention, Preparedness, Response and Recovery in accordance with INEE guidelines.
Contract length: 6 months
Job Description :
- work with Children with special needs and their families/carers over a period of weeks or months to identify and treat their physical problem;
- develop and review treatment programmes, along with patients themselves, that encourage exercise and movement by the use of a range of techniques;
- assist in the supervision and education of student and junior physiotherapists and physiotherapy support workers;
- write patient case notes and reports and collect statistics in AID center in Gaziantepe .
- educate patients and their carers about how to prevent and/or improve conditions;
- keep up to date with new techniques and technologies available for treating patients;
- communicate with a wide range of patients, carers and health and social care team members;
- liaise with other healthcare professionals to exchange information about the background and progress of patients, as well as to refer patients who require other medical attention;
- be legally responsible and accountable;
- be caring, compassionate and professional at all times;
- manage clinical risk.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential •Very good Turkish and Arabic Language skills . •A holder of Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy or Two years study in Physiotherapy Institute (from Syria ) with experience 2 years after graduation . •With a good experience in Physiotherapy .
