Job Summary:

Human Resources Officer will be mainly responsible of HR Policy (development, Implementation, and follow up), Recruitment Process, Legal Framework (Work Permit, Contracting, and compliance with local Law), Coordination, Archiving (HR Filing System, tracking, and follow up), and Reporting.

Location:

· Gaziantep, Turkey.

Duties, Responsibilities and Tasks:

· Assisting line managers in understanding and implementing the organization’s policies and procedures.

· Promoting a culture of equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organization

· Recruiting staff – this includes developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates.

· Establishing policies and procedures regarding working conditions, performance management, disciplinary procedures and coordinating holidays as well as absences.

· Advising on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits.

· Undertaking regular salary reviews.

· Administering payroll and maintaining employee records.

· Implementing and advising management on stipulations set for by local employment laws.

· Planning, coordinating, and delivering, training for old and new staff members.

· Analyzing the training needs of staff members in collaboration with the respective departmental managers.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field

3-5 years of experience in related field, Previous work experience in the same field is a must.

Required Skills:

· Good level of oral and written Arabic/English Language, Turkish is an Asset.

· Experience in humanitarian/recovery context.

· Understanding of the relevant laws and statutory requirements.

· Excellent organizational, management and planning skills.

· Basic employee counselling skills.

· Highly confidential.

· Advanced computer skills, specifically in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

· Good knowledge of cloud & data sharing applications (Google drive, Dropbox…).

· Ability to travel to other project implementation locations (when necessary).

· Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills.

· Team work spirit.

· Ability and willing to work overtime and on weekends (when necessary).
