Job Summary:

is responsible for carry out MEAL plan under supervision of MEAL Officer, take advantage of the problems and obstacles that have been encountered and how to overcome them as lessons learned for future project implementation.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• assist in Implementing of the MEAL system, policies and procedures, submit the regular/needed reports.
• Perform data collection, work closely with the field team to gather information on the ongoing activities and provides regular updates on information gathering process (Assessment, PDM, FGD…etc).
• Assist the MEAL team in data analysis and data cleaning
• Debrief the MEAL volunteers after each Meal activity
• Manage the MEAL volunteers in terms of: location, task allocation, distribution, related documentation and any related task to their work.
• Collect the complaints based on feedback mechanism
• Share all work data with the MEAL officer accurately and within time frame,
• Coordinate with other departments such as logistics for transportation of the team to work area, Monitor the program activities via field visits
• Submit regular, ad-hoc, and any needed reports upon request,
• Perform any other tasks under the guidance of the direct supervisor

Position Requirements:
Required:

• A Bachelor's degree from a university/college; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
• Attention to detail, time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively utilize numerous computer applications required including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and must have a willingness to learn new relevant software programs as they become essential.
• Minimum six months of related humanitarian MEAL experience, related /knowledge
  experience is acceptable, conducting qualitative data collection and analysis.
• Fluent in Arabic & English (strong written and verbal skills)

Preferred:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Two years of work experience in a relevant role
