Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Examine patients and interpret diagnostic tests to achieve the proper diagnosis.
Measure and record the growth parameters (physical and mental milestones).
Prescribe of treatment to prevent the illness, diseases or injury to the infants and children.
Advise parents, guardians of the children and CHW concerning diet, hygiene and disease prevention.
Proper diagnosis and following up the communicable disease , updating the PHC officer
Regarding these diseases.
Coordinate with the PHC coordinator for the referral cases to Turkish hospitals.
Coordinate with the Turkish doctor to refer children under five years of age to get the required vaccination.
Follow up and update the PHC officer on diseases trends.
Fill up all the required information which is reflected on the patient card.
Any other tasks assigned by PHC officer/health manager
Qualifications:
Essential:
· Specialization certificate in pediatric medicine.
· Minimum 3 years-experience working as a pediatrician
· Having valid AFAD card/ registration.
· Can read, write, and speak Arabic language.
Desirable:
- Extremely flexible, and able to work under administrative and programmatic pressures and ability to cope with stressful situations
