Working within the Health Sector Health Coordinator to determine the organizational structure of the Health Department, planning and preparing the tasks and following up the implementation of the plans and activities and tracking the pharmaceutical-related procedures.
Reports to: Medical Coordinator
Managing: Pharmaceutical-related procedures
Main Responsibilities:
- Preparing reports plans and implementing programs of the health department – pharmaceutical sector that would help achieve the objectives of the Organisation.
- Responsible for following up on the purchasing of the pharmaceutical kits.
- Responsible for tracking pharmaceutical products distribution from BRO pharmacies in Syria.
- Liaising with pharmacists and doctors about prescriptions.
- Counselling and advising BRO pharmacists.
- Managing, supervising and training pharmacy support staff.
- Keeping a register of controlled drugs for legal and stock control purposes.
- Conducting monthly reports of drug consuming and inventories.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
The following knowledge, skills and abilities may be acquired through a formal schooling, self-education, and prior experience, on the job training or combination of above:
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutics.
- Accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of organisation.
- A methodical approach to work.
- Previous experience in similar position.
- English language proficiency: Good (reading, speaking and writing).
- MS Office suit proficiency.
