Summary of Position:
The Psychosocial Consultant & Trainer will work closely with the psychosocial support specialist. Under his supervision, the Psychosocial Consultant & Trainer would provide support in the implementation and follow up of RI’s PSS training for Syrian and Turkish staff in Turkey and ensure transparency and integrity across all programs activities.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
The PSS Consultant will be responsible to achieve the following deliverables:
• Prepare, organize and deliver the PSS training, be in 3 days PFA held for RI staff,
• Develop and submit to the psychosocial support specialist the draft of the training contents
• Monitor & evaluate the trainees during the sessions
• Provide detailed report and data on the implementation of the training
Qualifications & requirements:
The ideal PSS Consultant will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
· Fluency in Arabic and English or Turkish is required
· Master’s degree in Psychology or other related Science field, or a bachelor’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience in the PSS and Child Protection sector
· 5 years of relevant work experience
· Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing training programs
· Proven experience with PSS and Child Protection Minimum Standards training programs
· Deep understanding of the Syrian crisis and context
· Experience in developing and/or adapting PSS curriculum for children in conflict countries
· Solid experience in M&E activities.
