Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
·Assist the Nutrition program team to coordinate the implementation of Nutrition and IYCF-E activities.
·Assist in the initiation of Nutrition and IYCF-E activities in new sites.
·Attend meetings with various departments as requested by supervisors.
·Assist in the regular collection, entry and compiling of the data for Nutrition program reporting.
·Assist in the IYCF-E and Nutrition assessments.
·Assist in and analyzing the program data for Nutrition program reports.
·Support in organizing trainings and activities through preparing translated materials, coordinating on logistical arrangements and procurement, etc. as needed.
·Support in program administration, HR, and procurement for Nutrition and IYCF-E programming.
·Keep updated database of all Nutrition program staff.
·Assist Nutrition Program Officers re: HR, supplies, security, etc.
·Receive signed medical PRs-GIOs and other logistic documents from Nutrition Manager and Medical Coordinator for printing and signature from authorized persons
·Utilizing existing database to keep track of logistic and HR issues for Program team.
·Assist in arranging meetings and training by arranging venues, stationery, etc. as requested by supervisors
·Travel to field sites if necessary and requested by Nutrition manager and Nutrition Officer.
·Adhere to IMC Code of Conduct and internationally accepted humanitarian principles.
·Perform other duties as needed.
Knowledge and Experience:
·Bachelor Degree.
·Fluency in Arabic and Ability to effectively communicate verbally and written in English.
·Excellent organization and prioritization skills necessary.
·Understanding of community-based programming.
·Basic knowledge of nutrition, health, and child development.
·Strong communication skills.
·Good computer skills.
