SCOPE OF WORK:

The Case Worker will directly support children at risk or survivors of violence, abuse, exploitation and neglect. The case worker will be expected to manage cases and their family in a confidential and sensitive manner. The Case worker will report to case worker team leader or Case Management officer. As well case worker is responsible to archive CP cases in appropriate way and submit the required reports to the supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identification and assessment of children at risk or survivors of violence, abuse, exploitation and neglect
  • Ensure that all high risk cases are addressed immediately and shared with the direct line manager
  • Conduct individual case management to children harmed or at risk to be harmed coordinate with other agencies or services provider to refer cases and follow up with them.
  • Set a clear plan with the clients to work on which should include the needs, goals and appropriate objectives for each client.

  • Ensure regular follow –up and review of the care plan based on the child progress
  • Work closely with case management team leader to make sure the high quality of services provided
  • .
  • Attend weekly meeting with the team to set a weekly plan, discuss challenges and achievements during the week.
  • Deal with case management information in an appropriate manner and respect client's confidentiality, including storage, information sharing, etc.
  • Participate actively in weekly case management team meeting.
  • Communicate regularly with CM Team Leader for updates on achievements and challenges
  • Participate in other CP awareness focused activities in MRFS facilities as requested by supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Diploma of education, social studies, human rights, or any studies related to education studies.

· Minimum 1 year experience of implementing child protection program and counseling experience.

· High understanding and commitment to child rights.

· Ability to organized work, meet the deadline, submitting reports and work under pressure when needed,

· Demonstrate ability to work within team work and collaborate with team member.

· Computer literate, including Microsoft Word and Excel

· Fluency in Arabic required; English proficiency preferred.
