Summary Samaritans Purse is a is a non-governmental, international relief agency working with the victims of war, natural disaster and diseases since 1970. Samaritan’s Purse is operating in more than 100 countries around the world and active in the following sectors as FSL, Health, Wash, Nutrition and Protection.
Samaritan’s Purse is providing humanitarian assistance through their partners in Syria and registered to be active in Turkey since April 2016. Samaritan’s Purse will implement a “Winter and Special Needs” assistance project in Ankara through the distribution of electronic vouchers for a dignified mode of assistance. SP is looking for 14 (7 males and 7 females) paid volunteers will be supervised by two field assistants in Ankara. Based in Ankara, Outreach Volunteer (OV) will directly report to Field Assistant (FA). In accordance with the program strategy and mission of Samaritan’s Purse, OV will support assessments, distributions and post distribution monitoring during the project timeline. OV will provide timely and transparent day to day or requested time of assistance to Samaritan’s Purse.

· Verbal translations to program staff when it is needed.

Key Responsibilities
· Introducing Samaritan’s Purse and their project to beneficiaries.
· Building positive relations within the refugee community.
· Verbal translations to program staff when it is needed.
· Conducting house hold visits to refugee houses and monitoring their living conditions
· Assessing and registering potential beneficiaries to be supported through the program.
· Distribution of information papers and assisting beneficiaries on systematic challenges they may have during the project.
· Implementation of the agreed intervention in timely and quality manner.
· Conducting monitoring visits to contracted markets to ensure the assistance delivered in a dignified and efficient manner.
· Conducting PDM to analyze and evaluate the quality of the intervention.
· Keeping an efficient record of field and hotline complains and direct reporting to field assistants.
Education / Experience Needed
Bachelor’s Degree or one-year related experience (preferably with a NGO) or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Commitment and devotion to “Humanitarian Principles “and Samaritan’s Purse “Code of Conduct”.
· Experience in humanitarian sector is a strong asset.
Language
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, Arabic and in Kurdish. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence in English, Arabic and in Kurdish. Turkish language skill is a strong asset.
All candidates must hold an ID ( Afad Card ), Residency, Valid Passport/Turkish ID.
