Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Manage the security of IMC activities and act as the safety focal point for international and national staff at IMC locations in Sanliurfa and south eastern areas of Turkey
Conduct security risk assessments and support needs assessments in Turkey
Coordinate with other IMC Turkey safety focal points for smooth implementation of IMC program activities
Facilitating humanitarian access into Syria in coordination with the External Relations Manager
Support to the IMC Regional Security Manager, through providing appropriate security data and analysis.
Actively promote PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards within IMC and amongst beneficiaries served by IMC
Knowledge and Experience:
A high level of understanding of both the security and operating environment in Turkey
A high level of understanding of both the security and operating environment inside Syria
Turkish National
Native Turkish speaker
Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
A minimum of 2 years experience working with a Humanitarian ING0 based in Turkey ort
