Turkey: Supply Chain Improvement Consultant

Job Purpose

To dive deep into details of current IhsanRD supply chain systems, and to enhance related operations, to enable IhsanRD to keep its organizational growth, and to control challenging operating environments.

Key Responsibilities

Finance and Supply Chain Operations Improvement:

  • Participate in best-in-class sourcing & procurement assessments and transformations.
  • Measure key supply chain metrics and share feedback with client executives.
  • Be part of collaborative engagement teams through the development and implementation of sourcing & procurement strategies and solutions.
  • Develop deliverables and present findings at the senior level.
  • Work collaboratively with supply chain personnel and build relationships at the peer level.
  • Provide clear and concise status updates and assist the leadership team with managing project risks.
  • Participate in the development of proposals to assist the organization in improving supply chain performance.
  • Assist with materials management/purchasing processes, as requested by the organization.
  • Conduct line item pricing analysis against competitive intelligence.
  • Provide contract conversion analysis for projects department.
  • Assist the Account Managers on projects, as requested.

Supply Chain Personnel Development:

  • Provide constructive on-the-job feedback/training for finance and supply chain staff.
  • Conduct technical performance reviews, and contribute to performance feedback for finance and supply chain staff.
  • Maintain an educational program to continually develop finance and supply chain staff’s technical competencies.

Note: the above-mentioned key responsibilities/accountabilities are illustrative ones. Other future responsibilities/accountabilities may be assigned to the job depending on the department organizational chart.

Qualification (Education/Work Experience)

A.Essential:

  • Bachelor Degree in business, finance, or any other related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience within supply chain, including experience as supply chain manger/director.
  • Experience with NGO’s.
  • Advanced level in both English and Arabic.

B.Desirable:**

  • Advanced graduate degree in business, finance, or any other related field.
  • More than 10 years of experience within supply chain, including experience as supply chain manger/director.
  • Success operating in environments with INGO’s.
