Job Purpose Summary: The Nutrition Program Assistant will be responsible to assist the Nutrition program team to ensure effective and efficient implementation.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Should include:

•Assist the Nutrition program team to coordinate the implementation of Nutrition and IYCF-E activities.
•Assist in the initiation of Nutrition and IYCF-E activities in new sites.
•Attend meetings with various departments as requested by supervisors.
•Assist in the regular collection, entry and compiling of the data for Nutrition program reporting.
•Assist in the IYCF-E and Nutrition assessments.
•Assist in and analyzing the program data for Nutrition program reports.
•Support in organizing trainings and activities through preparing translated materials, coordinating on logistical arrangements and procurement, etc. as needed.
•Support in program administration, HR, and procurement for Nutrition and IYCF-E programming.
•Keep updated database of all Nutrition program staff.
•Assist Nutrition Program Officers re: HR, supplies, security, etc.
•Receive signed medical PRs-GIOs and other logistic documents from Nutrition Manager and Medical Coordinator for printing and signature from authorized persons
•Utilizing existing database to keep track of logistic and HR issues for Program team.
•Assist in arranging meetings and training by arranging venues, stationery, etc. as requested by supervisors
•Travel to field sites if necessary and requested by Nutrition Manager and Medical Coordinator.

•Adhere to IMC Code of Conduct and internationally accepted humanitarian principles.
•Perform other duties as needed.

Knowledge and Experience:

Should include:

•Bachelor Degree, preferably in Health Science.
•Fluency in Arabic and ability to effectively communicate verbally and written in English.
•Excellent organization and prioritization skills necessary.
•Understanding of community-based programming.
•Basic knowledge of nutrition, health, and child development.
•Strong communication skills.
•Good computer skills.

Note : All applicants should have valid Residency Card or Work Permit.
