Ghiras Foundation is a non-governmental, non-profit organization concerned with childhood development, education, protection and prosperity of children.

Starting Date: 15th of December 2016
Main Objective:
Improving current and future management of outputs, outcomes and impact and assessing the performance of projects and programs set up by the organization. It establishes links between the past, present and future plans, actions and impact.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare a detailed M&E work program (including outputs) and budget for the projects; ensure that the M&E program continues uninterrupted Ensure data received from the field is correct, usable for integration into the central database, and reporting.
- Design of information collection tools and research methodologies and translating these tools and methodologies.
- Support the collection and management of data sets, verify and update collected data.
- Monitor the accuracy of collected data and the proper link between field data and database.
- Administer the information collected through the feedback and complaints mechanism.
- Working with the Meal teams inside Syria to brief them on upcoming activities, methodologies, and research tools for Meal activities.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure all potential data collection needs are addressed.
- Assist project team in preparation of internal and external project reports;
- Undertake secondary data collection and literature review to support project monitoring and management processes.
- Perform any other duties as required by the Head of Programs Department.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in economics, management, development, social sciences or related disciplines.
Experience in establishing or strengthening monitoring and evaluation capacity.
Proven capability in leading and conducting monitoring and evaluation within different sectoral contexts.
Ability to work with different stakeholders to achieve a unified vision.
Knowledge & Skills
Willingness to travel within country
Strong capacity to work under-pressure
Excellent communication skills, speaking and writing in English essential.
Strong facilitation skills
Good working knowledge of computer skills including word, excel, email/internet
