Baytna Syria is seeking to recruit an Accountant to support the Finance Department at Baytna Syria

Contract Type and Length: Long term employment

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Reviewing the payments documents (Invoices, Purchase order, Receipts….etc) to ensure their compliance with both organization’s policy and donor regulations.
• Prepare vouchers and submit for needed approvals.
• Managing the advances and handling office petty cash expenses.
• Managing the organization’s daily cash and bank payments.
• Process the daily data entry for payment transactions on cash books.
• Assist in payroll preparation.
• Participate in the preparation of financial reports as required.
• Processing the archiving and scanning for all documents.
• Assist in providing required documents during the audit process.
• Any additional task required by supervisor.

Key qualification;

• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting is required.
• University degree in accounting, economics, finance, business administration, or related fields is required.
• Good command in both Arabic and English Languages.
• Good computer skills especially in MS. Office package.
• Knowledge of accounting Systems is preferable.
• High Communication and interpersonal skills.
