Turkey: Security Data Assistant (Turkish/Syrian)

Provide security information, data entering and analysis and translation support to the IMC Security Department.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:· Monitoring the media for changes in the security environment in Southern Syria, and communicating this information as appropriate

· Following up with security data sheets and making them up to date

· Translation, mainly Arabic to English, sometimes English to Arabic, of security reports and other documents

· Assist in preparing the daily and weekly security reports

· Provide cover and assistance to other security assistants as necessary

· Other duties as required

Knowledge and Experience:· Native Arabic speaker, advanced English (both spoken and written)

· University education

· Highly familiar with the security and geographical environment in in Syria especially the southern part of the country.

· Good at using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

· Ability to multitask and work with little supervision
