Position Title:Hr. Manger

Job Location: Gaziantep with regular visits to Kilis – Turkey

Work time: Full time

Reports to: Administrative coordinator

Objective:

An HR Manager manages and organizes staff activities of an organization and leads negotiation between employees. The HR Manager also is in charge of personnel recruitment, selection, training, and sometimes-even compensation.

Job Description:

  1. The HR Manager is in charge of elaborating and putting in place the HR Manual and Internal Regulation for IDA staff. He /she revises the document with the support of the Finance and Administration Manager and updates it whenever needed.

  2. The HR Manager is always informed on the Turkish Labor Law and its changes. He/she brings to the attention of the Finance and Admin Manager all-important information on the Labor Law that might affect the HR Department of IDA and its Employees.

  3. The HR Manager is in charge of presenting the HR manual and internal regulations to all IDA new staff as well as organizing workshops with the existing IDA staff. He/she should make sure that all staff understands these regulations and respects them.

  4. The HR Manager is in charge of preparing the draft Job Announcement for all new needed IDA staff and directing it to the Finance and Administration Manager for his verification and approval. Once the approval is received, the HR Manger is in charge of publishing the announcement, collecting the CVs of the interested persons and directing them to the Finance and Administration Manager and organizing the interviews. He might be asked to be also present in the interviews by the direct Supervisor.

  5. The HR Manager is in charge of preparing the Employment Contracts of all new IDA staff and the necessary Contract Amendments for the existing ones. All necessary attached documents annexed to the Employment Contract are prepared and added to the Contract Package.

  6. The HR Manager prepares Job Descriptions for IDA staff in collaboration with the Management team and directs them to the Finance and Administration Manager and IDA Management team for their verification and approval.

  7. The HR Manager is in charge of the filing system of all HR documents in the office. He/she makes sure that all HR documentation related to IDA´s Employees including: general personnel data of IDA´s Employees, the Employment Contracts, Job Descriptions, Internal Regulations, time sheets, etc. is kept safely in IDA´s Office.

  8. The HR Manger carries out other duties as requested by his/her Direct Supervisor.

Desired qualifications and competencies:

· A university degree in one of the administrative functions.

· Minimum of 3 years the iNGO in Hr. Management.

· Ability to work well in a team environment.

· Ability to work longer hours and under pressure

· Excellent communication, report writing and analytical skills

· Computer literacy: MS Word, Excel (database and spreadsheet) and PowerPoint.

· Fluency in English; Arabic will be an advantage.
