SCOPE OF WORK
Preparation, revision and maintenance of all SRD Turkey grants and operating budgets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Specific Duties
a. Preparation, revision and maintenance of SRD Turkey Operating Budget.
b. Preparation and revision of ALL grant’s budget proposals.
c. Working with program staff in preparing and/or revising grant budgets to support new proposals or realignments to ensure adequate coverage of country operating costs, regional staff and headquarters costs.
d. Consolidate and update all grant pipeline information from Program and Finance departments on a monthly basis and to propose and prepare budget revisions as necessary.
e. Prepare and review all grants Budget versus Actual reports on a monthly basis in donor currency to be sent to the staff and to provide recommendations for realignments as required.
f. Assist the Finance Coordinator and Finance & Compliance Director to provide budget training to staff on operations budget preparation, grant budget maintenance, revisions and pipelines.
g. Prepare required donor financial reports for review by the Finance Coordinator and Finance & Compliance Director.
h. Monthly advice on the charges in the staff allocations grants coverage.
i. Maintain and complete the financial documentation of the centralized grant filing system per the instructions of the Finance Coordinator and the Finance & Compliance Director.
General Duties
a. Attend and actively participate in trainings identified/organized by your supervisor.
b. Follow any new donor and SRD procedures and guidelines communicated from Finance Coordinator, Country Director.
c. Report any violations of the SRD Way: Professional Code of Conduct.
d. Perform other duties as may be assigned by your supervisor.

Reports to: Finance Coordinator
Technical Oversight/Support by: Finance & Compliance Director
Coordinates with: All levels of SRD staff
REQUIREMENTS
1-Education:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration
2- Work Experience and/or Demonstrated Abilities
- Demonstrated ability to prepare budgets and manage project finances.
- At least 2 year experience in accounting practice and budget preparation
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet regular deadlines.
3- Skills:
- Budgeting skills
- Reporting and presentation skills
- Ability to work with complicated Excel spreadsheet; ability to work with Pivot tables and working with Macros in Excel.
- Accounting package knowledge (QBs) will be an added advantage.
- The candidate should be mature and comfortable in a multi-cultural work environment, work well in and promote teamwork and able to handle pressure with professional grace.
4- Languages:
- Very good Arabic & English communication skills.
