Job Summary:
MHPSS – CBPSS Social Worker / Community Mobilizer (CSW) will be part of team of community mobilizers that will be responsible of community mobilization toward Community Based Psychosocial Local Initiatives, select community response persons (local community initiators), provide training and support to community response persons, accompany community response persons with their community activities.

Contract: Full Time/ Three Months.
Location: Gaziantep, Turkey.
Nationality: Turkish and/or Syrian Only.
No. of personnel required: Four.
Duties, Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Conduct field visits to select community response persons
- Conduct visits to local authorities with Liaison Officer to present the project
- Accompany community response persons in Training
- Accompany community response persons in Community Initiatives
- Daily/weekly follow up to community response persons
- Help community response persons to prepare, execute, and report their Community Initiatives
- Coordinate with Liaison Officer and Logistics/Procurement Officer regarding Community Initiatives’ requirements
- Conduct Psychosocial Support sessions (Peer to Peer, Bilateral, Group) with community response persons (when needed)
- Conduct Monthly Capacity Building Training for community response persons
- Weekly/monthly meetings with Project Managers/Field Technical Advisor
- Maintain periodic, activities and evaluation reports
- Maintain and develop cooperative working relationships with relevant service providers (national and international), community centers and organizations, governmental institutions, companies and local businesses etc.; to enhance work opportunities and cover complementary needs of the women and children beneficiaries of the project.
Education and Experience:
- University degree in social work, or a related field
- 1 year of experience in Humanitarian NGO in community based work, preferably in relation to Mental Health Psychosocial Support.
Required Skills:
- Good level of oral and written Turkish-English or Arabic-English Language.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team, and under pressure.
- Knowledge of and commitment to UN Protection Guidelines.
- Good knowledge and skills in computer usage including word, power point and outlook.
- Good knowledge of could & data sharing applications (Google drive, Dropbox…).
- Readiness and fitness to commute between different Cultures.
- Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills.
- Ability and willing to work overtime and on weekends (when necessary).
Requirements: (in case of Syrian Nationals)
- Valid short term residency permit.
- Valid Passport.
