Shafak was officially established in 10-10-2013 (registration no. 27-016-129). It was founded during the early months of the Syrian Crisis in 2011. At its core, Shafak is a grassroots NGO that was formed by Syrians for Syrians, with the intent of addressing the needs of their life with dignity, equality and humanity with a focus on sustainability and autonomy.
Shafak is an impartial, independent, non-profit NGO that exists for the express purpose of providing humanitarian services to vulnerable people regardless of political or religious affiliations and on the long run to contribute to recover and rebuilding the society on freedom, justice and equality basis.

SCOPE OF ROLE:
The Partnership Coordinator will help weave collaborative relations that enable organization to effectively fulfill its mission and specific objectives, and nurture such relations focusing primarily on funding, program development and communications in Turkey program.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategy and Vision:
· leading the channeling of the partnership programs to provide high quality humanitarian and community development assistance through the ongoing partnerships within Turkey program.
- Program Management:
· Contribute with programs staff in assessing the organizational capacity needs.
· Channeling the communications with the ongoing partners in Turkey program to implement appropriate reflection and reporting of the project management processes, with full coordinate with programs & support Dept.
· Help in developing funding proposals and donor reports with full coordinate with reporting coordinator. Uphold a vision for the project. Develop Shafak program approach. (all related to the ongoing partners and donors) in Turkey program.
· Promote active participation and build professional relationship with ongoing partners.
· Get monthly partnership reports from and to ongoing partners and give timely necessary feedback. Make sure that all necessary information is sent and received in time so that project activities and all aspects of partnerships are well monitored and all the progress is on the right track.
· Deal with problems and issues that emerge, as far as possible. If the issue goes beyond your own mandate and/or resources, bring it to the attention of the CEO/Programs manager (or the line manager in the future).
· Help grants team in compliance and regulation of partner epically in required reports with full coordination with reporting coordinator.
· Contribute to country team-building efforts, help team members identify problem solving options and ensure the integration of all team members into relevant decision-making processes.
-Representation:
· Identify, build and manage collaborative partnerships with consortium partners, sub-grantees, donors, and other stakeholders.
· Communicate effectively to ensure overall project targets and donor obligations are met.

Required Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- A minimum of an undergraduate degree is required. A degree in education, international relations, business administration, political science, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years work experience in the humanitarian sector/with NGOs.
- Good skills and some experience in all aspects of program cycle management – design and development, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation.
- Strong presentation, writing and negotiation skills, including the ability to elaborate partnership projects and grant proposals
- Must possess an ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines, and work well with others in a fast-paced environment. Should be able to organize and prioritize own work with limited supervision
- Sense of initiative, discretion, mature judgment, and entrepreneurial spirit is required. Capacity to effectively interact with a multiplicity of stakeholders including senior leaders.
- Innovation and strategic thinking are highly valued. Strategy consulting background or experience in an innovative environment are a plus.
- A high level of written and spoken English and Turkish.

Essential Condition:
