Turkey: Project Coordinator

General Function:

Roia is looking to expand its programs department to reflect its growing responsibility as a provider of innovative solutions for positive social impact inside Syria. The project coordinator will work full time and report directly to the manager of the department. They will be responsible for overseeing ICT based projects designed to improve the wellbeing of vulnerable peoples in Syria and neighbouring counties. Accordingly, we are looking for a candidate who possess both project management skills and a solid grasp of ICT.

The ideal candidate joining our team will be a self-motivated multi-tasker possessing exceptional organisational skills. We value initiative and creative problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication in both Arabic and English are essential for the position.

Responsibilities

  • Developing project implementation plan and timeline.

  • Making sure the Implementation of project meet the agreed plan, standards, deadlines and budget.

  • Working with the rest of the team to project design and need assessment.

  • Overseeing all field staff and project implementation.

  • Reporting to the programs manager on all project activities.

  • Gathering data and research for required reports and project evaluation.

  • Other duties as may arise from time to time and as may be assigned to the employee.

Requirements

  • MUST hold Syrian nationality

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information technology, Business Administration, or other relevant disciplines.

  • 1-3 years working experience of participating in projects as project coordinator or project management assistant.

  • Familiarity with proposal writing (including budgeting, Logical framework and designing work plans etc).

  • Ability to write effective reports and evaluate/feedback written reports.

  • Experience of working effectively with a team.

  • Proficient English language skills.

  • Has a valid resident permit. **
