ROLE PURPOSE:
Under the direct supervision of the Support coordinator, the primary responsibility of the HR & admin Officer is providing support in the various human resource functions, which include recruitment, staffing, training and development, performance monitoring and employee counselling.

Supervision responsibility: N/A
Budget responsibility: N/A
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Human Resources:
- Advice staff on day to day interpretation and implementation of HR policies
- Ensure all HR policies and procedures are implemented and followed.
- Provide support to the Support manager/Support coordinator on the recruitment process when required.
- Support in advertising, receiving applications, short-listing, scheduling interviews.
- Ensure the timely processing of new contract, contract extension, staff transfer, promotions and other change of status.
- Provide support to Support Manager/Support coordinator on the preparation of payroll by ensuring accuracy & consistency.
- Roll out training on training guidelines.
- Manage the training requests, create & maintain training files, databases.
- Liaise with all line managers to ensure performance appraisals are being conducted regularly and appropriately,
- Analyses individual and organization development needs
- Participate in the development need assessment
- Ensure a high standard filling system
- Ensure time sheets are properly prepared and accurate.
- Maintain leave plan for all staff and update monthly.
Administration:
- Prepare all administrative letters when needed
- Prepare all Administrative Documents such as internal notes, regulation, memos and order forms.
- Ensure compliance of ISWA to legal requirements of the country
- Schedule regular maintenance activities to ensure the workplace is efficient.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES:
- University degree in related field (e.g. business administration, public administration)
- One-year experience on human resources
- At least one years’ work experience in business or NGO administration
- Strong organization skills.
- Good spoken and written English/Arabic.
- Ability to maintain a positive, enthusiastic attitude while being a pro-active problem solver.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
- Demonstrated experience designing and facilitating trainings
- Experience in staff development preferred.
- Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. Ability to manage programming databases preferred.
Desired Skills (not essential but preferred):
- Turkish speaker
- Syrians with Turkish Nationality (Dual citizenship)
Personal Qualities:
- Excellent Monitoring, Reporting, Presentation, Facilitation and Communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, independently and with limited supervision.
- Flexibility
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and to multi-task to meet deadlines
- Promotes team work, contributes towards building team consensus and acts as a team player
- Consistently approach work with energy and a positive, constructive attitude
- Demonstrate ability to identify problems.
- Makes recommendations related to work procedures and implementation of management systems.
