About Multeciler: The Multeciler Association, starting its operations in 2014, is a local NGO operating in many fields for the Syrians who have left their countries because of war and took refuge in Turkey. Priority activities include shelter, health, education, protection, social cohesion and employment. The range of activities carries from the health to shelter, education to work permits, and MHPSS to socio-economic support.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASK DEFINITION:
- Work with the psychologist to undertake assessments of all patients who register for MHPSS services, and their families, focusing on the social components of the assessment.
- Undertake case management for all patients who are assessed as requiring specialized MHPSS services. This includes working with the case management team to develop a care plan, facilitating referrals to external services, following up on the patient’s progress, and organizing case reviews.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient files.
- Maintain an updated service mapping of local services in all key sectors (e.g. health, shelter, protection, legal assistance, education etc), and develop and maintain up-to-date referral pathways.
- Act as a protection focal point at protection coordination mechanisms, if requested to do so by management.
Note that this job description must remain flexible to respond to additional tasks or changes identified by the department manager.
PROFILE REQUIRED:
Required Education: Bachelor's degree in social work, sociology, or another relevant social science.
Required experience: At least two years experience in a case management role.
Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Excel, word.
Languages: Fluency in Arabic and English
Additional personal Requirements
- Ability to work within a team structure or in isolation, flexible, and can cope with stressful workload and working with limited resources.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
