Position description:
Establishing a level of trust between an organization and its donors is one of the key responsibilities of a donor relations specialist. To foster a trusting environment, the donor relations team must ensure that donors understand the cause or organization they are contributing funds to. Providing an immediate understanding of the use of the donated funds gives donors confidence that a nonprofit will spend their donation according to their wishes.
In order to be successful, you will be/bring:
- Being able to secure funding for organization project.
- The ability to build and maintain good relations with leading actors.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including influencing, negotiation and coaching
- A strong results orientation, with the ability to challenge existing mindsets.
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong team management skills, including performance management, staff development and training.
· Administrating all donations to the organization from start to finish, covering all the fine details.
- Working with the executive management team to draw a strategic vision for the organization, including the strengthening the organizations strategic relations.
Essential qualification:
· A university degree in economics, social sciences, international relations, international development, communication, marketing, business administration or a related field.
· 5+ years of managerial experience in society development projects..
