Master Trainer , FCA Syria Response

FCA is seeking to hire a master trainer who is specialized in delivering the Annual Status of Education Report (ASER) research tool Training of Trainers in Gaziantep, Turkey. Qualified candidates will be shortlisted and interviewed regardless of their geographical location but must be willing and able to travel to Turkey on the assigned training date. The ToT session will be held in Arabic over two full days in the last week of April or first week of May 2018.”

The main purpose of the assignment is to facilitate and provide full technical and theoretical explanation of the ASER research tool with a group of trainers/knowledge sharers in Gaziantep, Turkey.

Preparation, facilitation, and training:

1. Prepare a detailed training plan including topics, timeline, sub-topics, exercises, and all relevant training standards.
2. Understand and prepare the existing training materials and provide feedback on the training elements before, during, and after the training.
3. Administer the training sessions for selected staff using appropriate tools for communication and education.
4. Develop a detailed evaluation tool of the modules and training methods.
5. Develop training report with recommendations for further learning activities.
6. Coordinate with the engaged staff of the partner to equip and prepare the venue of training. Ensure the costs are aligned with the assigned budget.

Deliverable:

1. Overall technical training plan on ASER Research Tool.
2. Interactive participatory training method.
3. Detailed training plan per topic.
4. Introduction to KOBO data collection tool.
5. Evaluation templates (in cooperation with FCA/UNICEF) Logistical coordination with the Turkish organization (in cooperation with FCA)
   Outcomes:

After the two-day training of trainers, the trainees are expected to:

· Fully understand the concept of the ASER Research Tool

· Have learnt the basic knowledge to perform ASER tests to different age groups.

· Learn how to coordinate, collect, and analyze the data collected from the ASER tool.

· Be able to organize an ASER research team.

· Be able to deliver the technicalities of conducting the ASER research tool to their colleagues/peers.

Competency:

· Certified ToT Trainer

· Remarkable experience in ToT delivery

· Knowledge in the Syria context.

· Experience in writing training reports

· Remarkable training skills

· Experience in the Education sector is essential.

· Experience in EiE is a valuable asset. **
