“Kesh Malek” was established as a part of the revolutionary movement in Aleppo, and its activities focused in the early stages on calling and mobilizing people to demonstrate, and distributing awareness and mobilizing flyers, serving the goals of the revolution in freedom and dignity.
Additionally, the organization was involved in organizing politically and revolutionary oriented advocacy campaign according to the current developments.
Position Title:Outreach Officer
Job Location: Gaziantep
Work time: Full time
Reports to: Program Manager
Main tasks and Activities:
- Organize, attend, and/or participate in special events and meetings regarding women's rights
- Serve as spokesperson for Women Projects at meetings and media.
- Develop and implement an annual outreach plan that includes visits to NGOs, INGOs, and the private sector.
- Implement the outreach plan and ensure the visibility of the project.
- The Outreach Coordinator assists the Project manager with the duties related to enhance PR of the Projects.
- Any other task assigned by the direct manager.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- proficiency in MS Office Applications.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills are required.
- University degree related to this field
- Experience for more than 2 years in programs sector.
- Familiar with the Syrian crisis and context.
- Past management experience in emergency response contexts
- Eligible to work legally in Turkey
- Fluent in English; Arabic or Turkish will be an advantage
- Experience in influencing government, donors, and other organizations
- Strong research and policy development skills.
