Turkey: IT - Data Management Officer (Turkish Nationality)

International Blue Crescent Relief and Development Foundation – IBC is an emerging NGO founded to help alleviate human suffering, illiteracy among all people regardless of nationality, ethnicity, race, color, genetic or physical features, social origin, religion, belief, language, political opinion, gender, age and sexual orientation. IBC acts with impartiality in the belief that people are created equal and have the right to dignity, proper sheltering, food, healthcare, education and proper standards of living. IBC is currently looking for a “Computer / Software Engineer” with the following qualifications, to join one of its project team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams to identify system requirements,
• Integrate back-end data,
• Design user interface and web layout using HTML/CSS practices,
• Upgrade and repair existing programs,
• Perform periodical tests and debugging to maximize program efficiency,
• Create technical documentation for user support,
• Suggest new features to improve program navigation and operation,
• Follow security principles,
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments.

Requirements

• BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field,
• Proven work experience as Web programmer or developer,
• Hands on experience with various programing languages, like PHP, ASP.NET, Javascript and Cold-Fusion,
• Familiarity working with HTML/CSS,
• Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and web application development,
• Attention to detail,
• Project management skills within a fast-paced work environment,
• An ability to communicate and work in a team,
• Engineers who want to improve and desirably gain experience in humanitarian sector, ERP applications and data management,
• Experience in designing database (SQL),
• Sufficient English communication skills,
• Male candidates should have no military obligation or postponed at least for 2 years,
• Having no obstruction to travel when required (holding B–class driving license),
• No restriction to travel abroad,
• General understanding of router/switch and vlan networks.
