ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT
These jobs are found in Regional Bureaux (RBs), Country Offices (COs), Area/Field Offices (AOs/FOs). The job holders typically report to a Programme Policy Officer or the designate.
At this level, job holders are responsible for the completion of a range o f specialized and/or standardized processes and activities requiring some interpretation of standard guidelines and practices. Job holders are able to recommend a course of action to staff at various levels and may allocate tasks to other support staff. They work under minimum supervision, perform basic analyses and compile reports to support information consistency and smooth implementation of programmes/projects.
JOB PURPOSE
To perform specialized and/or standardized policy and programme-related processes and activities to support the effective delivery of assistance packages.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)
Beneficiary feedback mechanism:
-Support in setting up a centralized WFP database to manage, track and respond to the feedback and complaints of beneficiaries received through the WFP WhatsApp number or any other channel established by WFP.
Record all complaints using a tracking sheet for all received feedback and complaints from beneficiaries.
Prioritize complaints based on the available guidelines and guidance from the WFP Monitoring and Evaluation M&E officer.
Refer complaints to the relevant Cooperating Partner (CP) or WFP staff.
Follow up on corrective action/ response with Cooperating Partners(CP)/ WFP staff and provide feedback to the beneficiaries.
Manage the system to enhance the existing feedback mechanisms, while exploring additional methods.
-Support in conducting sensitization sessions for the Cooperating Partners (CPs) field staff to ensure
their understanding of feedback mechanisms that would be later communicated to beneficiaries by Cooperating Partners (CPs).
- Develop a frequently asked questions (FAQs) note that answers the beneficiary inquires by clarifying and providing relevant information.
-Follow up on beneficiary cases to ensure that actions are timely and effective.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and analysis as required.
-**Focus Group Discussions**:
Guide the Cooperating Partner(CP) field staff and third-party monitoring staff in organizing group discussions with beneficiaries based on country office, field operational and Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) priorities. This ranges from setting up clear objectives, selection criteria of the participants/sampling, questionnaire design, analysis of qualitative findings and reporting.
Conduct onsite practical group discussion training remotely for third party and Cooperating Partner(CP) field staff.

· Fluent written and oral communication in Arabic and English required.
· Ability to maintain accurate and precise records, well organized.
· Ability to interpret and analyse a variety of data and resolve discrepancies
· Ability to deal patiently and tactfully with people of different national, cultural and religious backgrounds
· Strong computer skills particularly in Excel and PowerPoint; Access and SPSS statistical software experience is beneficial.

STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in the related functional area.
Language: Fluency in both oral and written communication in English and Arabic Languages.
Experience:
At least 4 years of progressively responsible experience related to monitoring, research or programme management.
Has contributed to implementation of programmes.
Working on beneficiary and complaint mechanism is an advantage.
