JOB BRIEF
The Transportation Officer is responsible for monitoring and ensuring the safe transportation of our students to and from Karam House. This includes accompanying the bus driver on all trips with students, taking student attendance, and maintaining all child protection and safety policies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinating with the logistics team on the student transportation schedule
- Maintaining student attendance records
- Accompanying transportation driver on all trips transporting students
- Enforce organization's code of conduct
- Report on any issues with students, the transportation route, or the transportation company
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Child Protection training
- Customer service attitude
- Proficiency in Arabic & Turkish Language
- Valid Turkish Residency Permit or Citizenship Required
LOCATION: Istanbul , Turkey
CONTRACT LENGTH: 1 year– extendable
HOURS: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
SALARY: salary defined by the Karam Foundation salary grid and educational level*
