Scope of work:
MWL is seeking for Data Management Assistant to work under supervision of the Project Manager.
S/He would help to collect, enter and analyze data and information related to the project.
This includes collating all existing assessment data from different filed to assist in combined analysis and improved the project management through effective use of data and information.
Job duties and Responsibilities:
1- Assist Project Manager to gather data of appropriate beneficiaries to ensure information is accurate and consistent.
2- Working on updating the website information on daily basis for the projects beneficiaries.
3- Support Project Manager to strengthen good quality data collection, aggregation, management, analysis and use at sub-chapter, and district chapter in order for the recovery operation to best meet the information needs of beneficiaries to improve the project on an ongoing basis.
4- Support, design and implement a comprehensive database for data collection and management that meets the information needs and that can feed into organization systems.
5- Work with the Project Manager to facilitate the review, editing, and approval of information products for internal and external audiences.
6- Work closely to develop information management tools (templates, infographics, maps, charts) for district chapters and Subchapters.
7- Working on updating the excel and word sheets which include the projects beneficiaries’ information.
8- Helping the Project Officer in Preparing and implement the activities for children and their caregivers.
9- Helping in communicating with the Projects’ Beneficiaries on daily basis, and receive the project hot line, in order to stay connected with the beneficiaries.
10- Assist the Project Manager and Project Officer on conducting daily routine tasks such as archiving and other tasks.
11- Helping in Planning and conducting the project field activities.
Duties applicable to all staff
Actively work towards the achievement of the Nepal Red Cross Society 7th Development Plan and Recovery Framework.
Abide by and work in accordance with the MWL principles, Code of Conduct.
Perform any other work-related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Project Manager and Project Officer.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES
Bachelor’s degree or intermediate institute in IT or any close related field is required.
6 months at least of experience in similar field.
Ability to work under pressure alone and as part of a team
Communication, Decision making, Motivation, Problem solving and conflict resolution.
Ability to organize documents in the systematic manner.
Establishing and maintaining good relationships with programme team members and caregivers and children.
A strong sense of integrity, and responsibility.
Ability to work effectively on all MS applications e.g. Word, advance Excel and PowerPoint in English.
Advance Spreadsheet with scripting.
Good manners and appearance.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English
Turkish language is preferred.
Turkish nationality is preferred
