Silk Road Organization (SRO) is a non-political, non-governmental, and non- profit organization established by a group of youth people who believe in future. The organization’s vision is to enhance and develop the role of civil society in all aspects in order to enable it to have a strong role in building the future. Silk Road established in Aleppo city in November 2015 and has registered in Turkey under the name of "Ipek Yolu Suriye Dernegi" in January 2016, and in Iraq August 2017. The regional office is located in Gaziantep, with a main office located in Erbil.
Roles and responsibility:
Work on the development and implementation of the annual human resources plan.
Study the organization's human resource needs.
selecting and appointing the most qualified human resources and appropriate to the organization requirements and develop a plan to keep them.
Develop a plan for the training of staff and workers in the organization and work on raising abilities.
Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
Updating internal databases with new hire information.
Permanent coordination with the Finance Manager in all human resources matters.
Monitor staff commitment in attendance and leave ,and putting the disciplinary procedures for the control of their work.
Submit the semi-annual and annual reports to the organization's management.
Provide payroll inputs such as attendance summary, leave summary, other deductions to payroll
employee wise in specified format for processing payroll.Ensure that salary slips are distributed to all staff of the region.
-Manage the filing, storage and security of Silk Road documents.Administer official travel arrangements of staff members, including reservation and issuance of air travel, hotel accommodation and appropriate daily subsistence allowances.
Organize and manage the visa and other legal documents needed by staff members or Consultant if deemed necessary, and act as the single contact point for all matters related to visa.
Performing office duties that include ordering supplies and managing a records database.
Provide general administrative support
QUALIFICATIONS & Experience:
- Academic Background in HR Management and/or Administration.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in HR Management and/or Administration.
- Good knowledge of Turkish Labour Law.
- Ability to work under pressure and in one team.
- Excellent MS Office knowledge and computer skills
- Fluent in English.
- Turkish language is preferred.
