Position Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct full assessment of the children’s developmental aspects; motor, social, language, cognitive and other developmental aspects.
• Support the children’s families and primary caregivers through providing psychoeducation, designing home-based plans with a proper follow-up.
• Develop an individual rehab plan for each child based on the assessment results
• Contribute to the raising awareness activities whether by conducting group sessions or creating IEC materials.
• Implement the rehab plan directly to children with developmental and intellectual disorders.
• Provide proper supervision and coaching on the SNR facilitators to help in implementing the rehab plan properly.
• Work closely with other professionals such as psychiatrists, caseworkers, speech and language therapists and psychologists when necessary.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
Certificate: BA or Master degree in Psychology or Psychological Counseling. Preferable Graduate of Turkish University
Experience: One-year experience in dealing with children with special needs such as autism, mental retardation, Down syndrome, etc.
Office programs: Intermediate level.
English language: intermediate level.
