Function and Organizational Relationships:
The Project Officer will support Maram Foundation Early Recovery and WASH programming in Syria in the overall monitoring of the Early Recovery portfolio that focuses on increasing access to safe roads to the camps and informal settlement, livelihood conditions for the IDPs in Northern Syria.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1- Follow up and track the progress of all Early Recovery program activities to ensure field delays are forecasted
2- Work with, train and coach partner organizations and staff in a matter.
3- Ensure accurate and up-to-date information is maintained for ER activities and that data generated through field activities are updated on a daily basis on centralized records and stored securely
4- Support the Early Recovery team by coordinating with procurement, Logistic and HR teams.
5-Preparation and writing of weekly, quarterly and final reports under the supervision of the ER Manager.
6-Ability to lead the design and implementation of Maram Foundation program activities, strengthening of strategic partnerships for Early Recovery.
7- Ability to build and sustain effective partnerships with the Maram Foundation and main stakeholders.
8- Other related tasks at the request by your line manager.
Qualifications:
1- Civil Engineering / Architecture or other studies related to the job description.
2- Total of Three years of relevant experience, one of which must be an NGO experience.
3- Excellent AutoCAD skills.
4- Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills 5- Builds strong relationships with his/her team and external actors
6- Experience in humanitarian project design, implementations, and evaluation
7-Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc).
