Basmeh and Zeitooneh is looking to recruit a Project Coordinator for the project: Your Voice, Your right
The main components are women-led initiatives, women’s rights advocacy campaign, community-based activities.
Job Title: Project coordinator
Division/Department: Operations/ Projects
Reports to: Turkey Country Director
Duration of Initial Contract: Full-time/ 5 Months with possibility for extension
Work Location: Gaziantep, TURKEY (with possible visits to Lebanon)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Overall project management:
Organize planning meetings with relevant parties to develop an annual work-plan and corresponding budget plan with clearly stated milestones contributing to the achievement of target outputs defined in the project document.
• Provide direction and guidance to project teams, contractors and consultants to ensure the project outputs are achieved;
• Develop and update monthly work plans and expenditure plans based on the agreed work-plan;
• Organize regular meetings for the project team members to assess work progress, discuss challenges and constraints, and provide guidance and support;
• Develop a Monitoring & Communication Plan for the project, in close coordination with the Monitoring and Evaluating Manager;
• Ensure systematic and effective implementation and monitoring of the Project through including but not limited extensive and regular communication with field offices, and implementing corrective measures to keep the project on the right track for achieving the planned results;
• Ensure the application of BZ financial and administrative rules and regulations for the Project implementation.
Running the project:
• Plan the activities of the project and monitor progress against the initial quality criteria in close coordination with the centers managers;
• Manage in close coordination with the centers' managers, and project team , day to day administrative and operations matters.
• Ensure exchange of knowledge and best practices between all project team members, and management.
• Monitor financial resources and accounting to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial reports;
• Manage and monitor the project risks as initially identified in the project document, submit new risks to higher Management for consideration and decision on possible actions if required; update the status of these risks by maintaining the Project Risks Log;
• Prepare the Project monthly progress reports (progress against planned activities, update on Risks and Issues, expenditures) and submit the report to the Country Director of Basmeh & Zeitooneh.
• Prepare donor’s periodic reports as required.
• Foster strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the field; through the project representatives in the implementation locations, Promote and advocate for the project and represent Project as requested in relevant national seminars, meetings of work groups and panels, and project periodic evaluation and review meetings.
• Perform related duties as assigned by Country Director of Basmeh & Zeitooneh.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Education: Master degree in management, development studies or closely related fields.
Experience:
· A minimum of 3 years of relevant management experience;
· At least 2 - 3 years of experience in Syrian Crisis response programs;
· At least 2 years of remote management and coordination experience
Language:
· Fluent English and Arabic
Required Skills:
· Proven project management experience.
· Capacity to analyze a complex project environment aiming at strategic outcomes.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
· Advanced computer skills, specifically in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
· Good knowledge of cloud & data sharing applications (Google drive, Dropbox…).
· Ability to travel regionally
· Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills.
· High diplomacy, cultural sensitivity and security awareness.
· Excellent Reporting Skills.
· Develop and introduce vehicle/Transportation monitoring tools.
· Team work spirit.
· Ability and willing to work under high pressure and without constant supervision.
