Basmeh and Zeitooneh is looking to recruit Reporting and Translator Officer
Job Title: Reporting and Translator Officer
Division/Department: Operations/ Projects
Reports to: Humanitarian Affairs Consultant/Syria Project Coordinator
Duration of Initial Contract: Full-time/ 4 Months with possibility for extension
Work Location: Gaziantep, TURKEY
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Follow up on the daily reports submitted by the team and verify their authenticity and the way to enter them
· Summarizing the daily reports from the regions and issuing them in one report
· Follow up and organize the monthly reports submitted by the team
· Follow up the team's visit reports
· Daily translation of reports
· Follow-up to the Ferrer reports continuously
Education and Experience Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Experience:
At least one-year experience of providing translation and interpretation services from Arabic to English and vice versa, preferably in an NGO setting.
Language:
Fluent English and Arabic
Required Skills:
· Strong planning, writing and reporting skills
· Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Word and Excel) and web based applications
· Previous experience working with NGOs is essential.
· Ability to take initiative and identify solutions to challenges
· Flexibility and ability to work in a team
· Good organizational and time management skills Excellent social and interpersonal skills
