About Mercy Without Limits:

MWL is a humanitarian, advocacy, non-profit organization dedicated to working with communities in order to overcome poverty. main priorities are aimed at empowering women, youth, people with disabilities, and children by enabling them to participate in economic, social, and civil spheres. We aim to protect women, youth, people with disabilities, and children's rights by the constitution and legislation systems.

Main Purpose:
He/She has the overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of a project.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To ensure those project activities and outputs are implemented in a timely manner.

  2. To technically mentor and supervise Assistant food Security Officers working under his supervision as well as carry out Staff performance.

  3. To improve the work mechanisms that help in measuring the project indicators to achieve the project’s goals efficiently and effectively.

  4. To monitor the impact of the project, support decision making, and promote learning through documentation of best practices and follow up of necessary adjustment (Change management).

  5. To coordinate the FSL activities, as well as based on proposals, budgets, and plans.

  6. To break down the annual operational plans into weekly, monthly, and quarterly implementation plans.

  7. To ensure that the procurement, development, and distribution of materials and equipment are timely and according to procedures.

  8. To supervise the assistance delivery and the distribution process.

  9. To prepare periodic progress reports and other documents as required to document the project implementation.

  10. To ensure high-quality reports are submitted in a timely manner and work closely with the team members to ensure reports meet donor requirements.

  11. To report the security situation in the targeted areas and setting up the necessary measures.

  12. To ensure the proper implementation of the project according to the operational plan and M&E Plan.

  13. To assist the Programme coordinator in the identification of new projects and new areas of intervention.

  14. To coordinate with all the related stakeholders.

Note: the above mentioned key responsibilities/accountabilities are illustrative ones. Another future responsibilities/accountabilities may be assigned to the job depending on the department organizational chart.

Qualification:

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree in: Agriculture engineering, Projects Management, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 4 years at least of work experience including 2 years in implementing Agriculture and emergency response projects and 2 years of supervision experience.

  • Experience of project management/coordination in establishing and managing FSL projects, including monitoring, evaluation, administration, finance, and logistics, in complex and challenging environments.

  • Fluency in the English Language (4 skills: Listening – Speaking – Reading – Writing).

Desirable:

  • Master degree in: Agriculture Engineering, Projects Management, Business Administration, or any related field.

  • 6 years at least of work experience including 4 years in implementing Agriculture and emergency response projects and 2 years of supervision experience.

  • PMP Certified

  • Good Command of the Turkish Language (4 skills: Listening – Speaking – Reading – Writing).
