Would you like to become the new Finance and Administration Manager (FAM) for the DanChurchAid programme in Turkey/Syria? As the FAM you will actively support humanitarian relief and mine action activities, which improve the lives of Syrians in and outside Syria.
If you are a service-minded person, who enjoys challenges and taking responsibility, and if you have strong financial and administrative skills, you might be our next FAM in Turkey/Syria.
What you bring:
You have financial experience from a financial/administrative management capacity as well as HR management skills, preferable with an international non-governmental organisation (INGO). You also have a good understanding of the principles of the international financial standards along with a profound knowledge of accounting.
You have both interest and skills in setting up administrative systems and procedures. In addition, knowledge of procurement procedures and rules as well as logistic assistance would be appreciated.
You have great co-operation skills at all levels and see capacity development as a natural part of your work. You are diplomatic, patient and persistent. You also have experience from working in developing countries.
You speak and write English fluently. Knowledge of Arabic and/or Turkish is an asset.
What we offer:
DCA offers a 12 month contract (pending funding), starting as soon as possible. A competitive salary package is offered along with an interesting and challenging experience addressing humanitarian needs.
The duty station is Gaziantep in Turkey and you will refer to the international DCA Programme Manager.
