Role Purpose:
You will;
- Support the roll out of Primero/GBVIMS+
- Build, maintain and ensure proper execution of GBVIMS+ system in the org
- provide necessary assistance, support and maintenance to the field team
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the stability and effectiveness of technical services of the system in all devices of users.
- Set up a Log of active and decommissioned devices and users registered.
- Request conduct and complete necessary maintenance to devices of the team.
- Provide the necessary technical support for the team in daily use of GBVIMS+ system
- Assist with training of devices and troubleshooting
- Monitor, Communicate, coordinate on system upgrades, and follow up.
- Keep and communicate a record of errors in the system to communicate with system administrators
- Provide regular necessary feedback and updates of work system.
- Coordinating with the IT department in the org for support needed in terms of
- Installation and maintenance of the mobile device management solution
- Monitoring and utilization of the features of the solution such as tracking of basic information about the device, applications installed on the device, period information about the device location, log of control operations, ability to lock/unlock the device and additional functionality as defined by the mobile device management agreement
- Upgrading the mobile application when needed. For this purpose, the IT staff should be able to collect all devices in one location on a regular basis. User Organizations should be able to identify time & location when this can be done. This can also be done via the mobile device management solution.
Configuring mobile devices to ensure that conflicting application and use are prohibited by the Primero app (RapidReg) as per outlined below, such as:
Set app lock
Develop procedure for device failure
Set two-factor authentication
Locking the device to prevent personal use.
Keeping record of mobile devices as per Section 7.2.
Receive report of devices stolen or lost.
Support decommissioning and wiping devices or delete the application when needed
Promote and model a positive, professional and respectful office culture.
Any other duties assigned by line manager when required
Qualification, Experiences and Competencies:
- A Bachelor degree from a recognized university in IT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Networking. with at least 2 years of experience in a similar position and duties in NGOs or INGOs
- Ability to take initiative and work without supervision.
- People management skills that include diplomacy
- Good ability to organize work, meet deadlines, maintain composure, prioritize works, coordinate multiple tasks and maintain attention to details.
- Ability to work with diverse people, communities, and cultures, with an understanding of cultural awareness practices.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint),
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent skills in English and Arabic
SEMA Offers:
