1. BACKGROUND:
Orange is a non-governmental civil society organization devoted to alleviating the suffering and improving the sustainability mechanisms of conflict affected population. Orange partners directly with affected Syrian populations delivering humanitarian and development programmes, Livelihood, Education, and Protection, to enable them to improve their living practices and their sustainability mechanisms.
Orange also collaborates with national and international non-governmental organizations, local initiatives responding to the humanitarian Syrian crisis with capacity development programmes, to be better equipped with the skills they need to prepare and respond to affected population’s needs and to ensure that these communities, which we work within, are ready for any future disasters.
2. PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:
The overall objective of the training is to build the capacity of staff of Orange in communication skills, learn to improve professionalism, become a better presenter, manager, team member or meeting facilitator and develop a strategy to overcome communication challenges.
The trained staff members will further apply their skills in project/program management, development and implementation in the given dynamic humanitarian context, to come up with quality projects having greater impact in the lives of those we serve.

3.1. The training is aimed to achieve following objectives:
1- Effective communication skills in the workplace
· Learn ways to communicate better with people at work
· Learn how to link behavior, communication, and trust
· Learn how to improve communication skills at work through various approaches
· Learn how to recognize and respect individual uniqueness
· Learn how to deal with differences in communication styles that can create interpersonal conflict which, in turn, decreases productivity
· Learn how to leverage individual strengths and adapt communication strategies that minimize conflict
· Learn how to increase communication and influence management skills
· Learn how to increase both personal and workplace productivity
· Learn how to establish a foundation of behavior-based communication skills on which to build other key competencies
2- Effective Presentation Skills

3.2. METHODOLOGY:
3.2.1. Deliver using a blended learning approach and might comprises of presentations, interactive sessions of practical exercise and group works.
3.2.2. Practical sessions using case, individual or group exercises will be given to participants after each session to make sure that they can apply what they have learnt into practice immediately.
3.2.3. Participatory training methods such as brainstorming, simulation, group discussion and case analysis.
3.3. KEY DELIVERABLES:
3.3.1. Following deliverables are expected from the training provider:
3.3.1.1. Trainer will prepare agenda/contents/sessions of the training and submit these at least one week before start of the training.
3.3.1.2. Trainer shall conduct pre-test from all participants of the training.
3.3.1.3. Trainer will also share complete package of training material that may be provided to the participants.
3.3.1.4. Trainer will facilitate preparation of training follow up and action plan
3.3.1.5. After the completion of the training, the trainer will share comprehensive training report on the agreed format within 10 days after the completion of the training.
3.3.1.6. The trainer will deliver the training over ZOOM platform .
1.1. LOCATION:
1.1.1. The location will be in Turkey, online training over ZOOM plat form.
1.2. TIMEFRAME
1.2.1. This is a short-term assignment for individual consultants based in Turkey for a period of 18 training hours.

1.3. DUITES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.3.1. The trainer/consultant/resource person will:
1.3.1.1. Sign with Orange a consultancy agreement and work as a resource person for the days training event.
1.3.1.2. Discuss and agree with Orange on the final training package, content and deliverables.
1.3.1.3. Design an appropriate process of the training leading to the desired results.
1.3.1.4. Propose on the most appropriate training methodology for effective delivery of the assignment.
1.3.1.5. Device the tools required for each session of the training.
1.3.1.6. Satisfactorily facilitate the training sessions and ensuring active engagement of all the participants.
1.3.1.7. Share relevant training materials and provide any resource materials for further reading and reference by Orange staff.
1.3.1.8. Design a questionnaire for pre and post-test (to be used before and after the workshop) for workshops to gauge the level of understanding of the participants about the topics discussed in the training workshop.
1.3.1.9. Compile and submit quality training report (one soft copy)
1.4. SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
1.4.1. The resource person/consultant should possess following qualifications and expertise:
1.4.1.1. Soft skills trainer certified and active membership
1.4.1.2. Proven experience of conducting similar trainings.
1.4.1.3. Advanced university degree in social sciences/development science.
1.4.1.4. Proven experience of working with INGOs for conducting communication trainings
1.4.1.5. Strong communication, analytical and drafting skills
1.4.1.6. Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory – Turkish is desired.
2. SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
2.1.1. Consultant/resource person/ firms are required to submit their technical and financial proposals the Orange HR department on given email ID.
3. TECHNICAL PROPOSAL:
3.1.1. The technical proposal should include but not limited to the following information:
3.1.1.1. A brief outline of recent experience and client references in carrying out assignments of similar nature (Max. 1 pages)
3.1.1.2. Detailed description of how the consultant/firms understands and will respond to the ToR including time frame and number of persons involved in and comments on the ToR (Max 2 pages)
3.1.1.3. Curriculum Vitae of trainer
4. FINANCIAL PROPOSAL:
4.1.1. The financial proposal must contain overall quotation in Turkish Lira (TRY) for all the services to be provided and must follows the following:
4.1.1.1. An all-inclusive day rate who will take place in assignment
4.1.1.2. Summary of the total costs for the services proposed
4.1.1.3. Any taxes applicable
5. PROPOSED PAYMENT SCHEDULE:
5.1.1. 100% of the payment will be released to the trainer on week after completing the training.
