ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Grants Management

· Support the development and drafting of concept notes, full proposals, modification requests, and supporting documents according to the program management tool.

· Provide assistance in preparation of budgets in coordination with program and finance personnel

· Organize and support in grants kick off meetings

· Participate in and support grant review meetings

· Support the Grants and Reporting manager in tracking program progress on a monthly/quarterly basis

· Support in collating information for proposal development, donor information requests, coordinating inputs from relevant staff

· Maintain grants filing system for all SENED grants, including agreements, proposals, revisions, reports, etc.

· Support program compliance and internal control procedures according to internal and donor regulations

Reporting

· Support program team and local partners in program design and reporting through the capacity building trainings, development of standardized information and reporting tools

· Manage information for regular situation analysis (security, political, media, from other agencies/actors), regarding humanitarian needs and data collection from program activities

· Maintain a donor reporting schedule and share with relevant staff on a timely basis

· Support the development of communication tools (for internal and external use), including maps, case studies, and infographics

Internal/External Coordination

· Coordinate with sub-grantees at the field level to support coordination of activities, quality reporting, and capacity building

· Support information flow from the field, regionally and with headquarters

· Other duties as assigned. The duties and responsibilities listed are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.**

QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, International Development and/or in a relevant field of study

· At least 3 years of experience with an international humanitarian organization

· Experience writing proposals and managing information related to large-scale emergency response and reporting to donors

· Strong understanding of the Syrian context and the refugee crisis in Turkey

· Insight into Livelihood and Protection sectors

· Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently

· Ability to meaningfully contribute to decision making processes

· Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to lead and coordinate processes across a number of departments

· Flexible, able to cope with stressful situations and frustrations

· Competent in MS Excel, word processing, Power Point, and tools useful in information management and program reporting such as mapping

· Fluency in English, with strong written skills is a must. Arabic is a plus.
