Takaful Al Sham Charity is a non-governmental civil society organization devoted to alleviating the suffering and improving the sustainability mechanisms of conflict-affected population.
Takaful Al Sham Charity partners directly with affected Syrian populations delivering humanitarian and development programs, Livelihood, Education, and Protection, to enable them to improve their living practices and their sustainability mechanisms.
Requirements and Key Responsibilities:
- The ability to develop the policies and procedures for the supply chain in the Takaful Al-Sham organization to comply with regulations and laws, donor policies and the field.
- The ability to provide a high level of coordination and problem solving between the supply chain management and other departments.
- Ensuring the implementation of all operations within the supply chain in accordance with the procedures and policies of the Takaful Al-Sham Organization.
- The ability to lead the procurement process and provide guidance that complies with policies, procedures, and requirements.
- Review the documents related to all operations within supply chain and ensure their suitability to the procedures and policies of the Takaful Al-Sham Organization
- Preparing monthly reports for the purchase requisition tracking schedule and following it up daily.
- Preparing periodic reports on the various logistical operations in terms of following up the asset register, receiving and storing operations in warehouses, inventory operations, and following up on the movement of vehicles.
- Ensure proper control of the organization's assets and projects and organize the logistics.
- Provide support in identifying operational problems and developing solutions.
- Provide support in responding to internal and external audit needs, inquiries, and reviews.
- Participate and contribute to the identification and evaluation of capacity building for the supply chain team and work to develop it.
- Managing and mitigating risks at all stages of the procurement process, including fraud and corruption
- Follow up the lists of suppliers, update them periodically and work to expand them.
- The ability to communicate with donors and work to meet all requirements in time and quality.
- The ability to ensure that the human resource structure for the supply chain with clear definition of roles, responsibilities, tasks, and work plans.
- Participate in the recruitment process for supply chain personnel.
Qualifications and Experience:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• University degree or equivalent
*Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply chain management in non-profit organizations.
• At least 2 years working of experience in senior levels.
• Strong knowledge in Procurement and Logistics, and preparing periodic and progress reports, in addition, to operational plans for the department.
• Very good knowledge of international donors’ terms and their compliance requirements.
• Excellent computer skills in MS Office, especially Word and PowerPoint.
• The ability to conduct teamwork, mentoring, coordinating, following up, initiating, and developing the projects
• A very good command of effective communication and representation skills (oral and written).
• Strong English communication skills (oral and written).
• Analyzing and problem-solving skills.
• High degree of negotiation, persuasion, planning, and organizing skills

Bachelor's degree in E-commerce, Logistics.
