Scope of Work:
Responsible for managing all of the following sections and supporting the activities of the units in the Qatari Red Crescent (Almala- human resources - logistics - in court IT), management and control operations on a daily basis.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Strategic
· Provide advice to the Head of Mission on operational policies.
· • Oversee the work in coordination with the following sections and supporting units directors: (Almala- human resources - logistics - Media - Information Technology).
• Work to develop appropriate action plans to address the obstacles facing the work in sections and supporting units mentioned, both administratively and technical aspects in order to effectively and rapidly, both in the short term or the long term.
• Ensure effective and accurate management of financial resources to follow through financial activities, financial recording and access to the financial reporting system.
• the signing of the financial statements commissioned by the head of the mission.
• Ensure the provision of effective logistics services, and focus on procurement strategies, resources, supplier selection and evaluation, quality management and make sure to follow the approved purchasing policies in Turkey and inside Syria.
• ensure efficiency and follow-up unit of human resources in developing a plan for the recruitment and preparation of the job description of staff and job vacancies commensurate with the Qatari Red Crescent policy in hiring.
• Follow-up media performance of the unit and make sure the media policy commitment to the Qatari Red Crescent.
• Monitoring performance of the information technology and ensure its commitment to the Qatari Red Crescent policy.
• Follow-up of employees in departments and supporting units and the specific levels of knowledge, skills and expectations and motivation to achieve the regulatory requirements in coordination with the departments and units supporting the performance of managers.
• Follow up on the commitment of those sections and units supporting the implementation of the Strategy is Qatari Red Crescent.
• Review of work and budget and annual plans in coordination with the departments and supporting units specified.
• Develop a plan where the business priorities and regulatory requirements shows in coordination with the managers of those sections and supporting units.
• Develop effective internal controls that will develop the work in sections and supporting units specified.
• Work on the development of training departments and supporting units, which would contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the Qatari Red Crescent plans.
• measure the effectiveness of the system and is responsible for reconsideration and development, including a positive impact on the functioning of the Qatari Red Crescent.
• Meeting with supporting departments and units on a weekly basis to see the latest developments and stand on the difficulties and strive to overcome.
• Prepare your operations monthly report and submit it to the head of the mission.
• tasks assigned by the Head of Mission accomplished.
Operational
· Ensure that the processes in departments and supporting units already mentioned in an efficient, effective and sound management of resources.
People (Staff Management)
All managers and cadres of the following sections and supporting units: (Almala- human resources - logistics - Information Technology in court).

Education, Experience & Training:
· Education: Bachelor's degree as a minimum.
· Practical experience: the experience of not less than 10 years in operations management or in a related field, preferably non-governmental organizations.
· Training: training courses in leadership and management.
