Turkey: Health Awareness and Quality Coordinator

Scope of Work:

Provide and manage health education programs that help individuals, families, and their local communities to maintain healthy lifestyles.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with agencies and organizations interested in public health care.
2. Provide guidance to organizations on assessment of health education needs and on development and delivery of health education programs.
3. Develop and maintain the health education policies, and monitoring the health educational programs after the implementation to control the quality issues.
4. Develop operational plans and policies necessary to achieve health education objectives and services.
5. Collect and analyze data to identify community needs prior to planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating programs designed to encourage healthy lifestyles.
6. Design and conduct evaluations and diagnostic studies to assess the quality and performance of health education programs
7. Develop and present health education and promotion programs, such as training workshops, conferences, and school or community presentations.
8. Prepare and distribute health education materials, including reports, bulletins, and visual aids such as films, videotapes, photographs, and posters.
9. Running a ToT courses for the field coordinator, in all the health educational programs material, to be able to transfer the knowledge to the local society.
10. Supervise professional and technical staff in implementing health education programs, objectives, and goals.

Key Stakeholders:

• Internal Contacts: Medical Department, Media Coordinator.

• External Contacts: NGOs which work in the same field, Local communities.

• Education, Experience & language;

• Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in (Pharmacy, Medicine or Dentistry)

• Experience: Min 2 years in the medical field, (experience in training and family medicine is a plus).

• Languages: Fluent in Arabic & English

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

• Ability to work in a team.
• Good communications skills (written & verbal).
• Advanced Computer skills & MS office.

Working Conditions:

• Office work.
• Regular field visit.
